fist of the north star is THE manga series andy has been obsessed with. of course i got drawn into it as well. he spent hrm about $150 on a complete set of DVD of the TV series (released 1984-1987). it's about 150 episodes. it includes the first series and its sequel. the TV series is obviously not as concise as the movie but it's still fun to watch. here's a review of the movie - it might not be everyone's cup of tea. it's extremely violent but overall i enjoy the story line. i was so happy to finally obtain the theme song of the first TV series on mp3. you can listen to it on my radioblog and download it here.

oh yea the MOVIE SEQUEL titled "New Fist of the North Star" bites. don't get them!

This may be a first...

A couple from Montana were out riding on the range, he with his rifle and she (fortunately) with her camera. Their dogs always followed them, but on this occasion a Mountain Lion decided that he wanted to stalk the dogs (you'll see the dogs in the background watching). Very, very bad decision...

The hunter got off the mule with his rifle and decided to shoot in the air to scare away the lion, but before he could get off a shot the lion charged in and decided he wanted a piece of those dogs. With that, the mule took off and decided he wanted a piece of that lion. That's when all hell broke loose... for the lion.

As the lion approached the dogs the mule snatched him up by the tail and started whirling him around. Banging its head on the ground on every pass. Then he dropped it, stomped on it and held it to the ground by the throat. The mule then got down on his knees and bit the thing all over a couple of dozen times to make sure it was dead, than whipped it into the air again, walked back over to the couple (that were stunned in silence) and stood there ready to continue his ride... as if nothing had just happened.

Fortunately even though the hunter didn't get off a shot, his wife got off these 4...

I'm excited to announce the actress i really like Chen Hao has released her first album. I've seen Chen Hao act in one of my favorite series Fen Hong Nv Lang and some others.

"Chenhao, 25 yrs old Chinese mainland movie star from Qingdao, Shandong province has signed contract as a singer with Warner Bros. last year. The director of the record company accidentally heard she sang the song while recording the theme song of series drama ¡°Shuangxiangbao¡± and felt she has a unique voice. If trained, she can easily be a good singer. Later she test released a single "Hao xiang ai ni" the theme song of series drama "Shuang xiang bao". After the success her first full album was released on October 21, 2005."

The album is titled Chen Hao as well. It has 11 songs.
